Qasr Al Muwaiji invites you to attend the Emirati Dagger workshop to learn the secrets of dagger making, including the materials used and the proper way of wearing it. Participants will also learn about the inscriptions and decorations that adorn daggers of members of the ruling families in the United Arab Emirates.

Considered as one of the most important exhibits of Qasr Al Muwaiji, the programme will explore the colours and patterns used in making daggers, the uniqueness of the Emirati dagger and how they are worn. The workshop will be led by Khaled Khalifa, who will host Abdullah Al Matroushi, a researcher in traditional Emirati weapons and daggers.
