Naseer Shamma is a world-renowned master of the oud, a musical entrepreneur who also founded Bait Al Oud. Pioneers at Bait Al Ouds school in Abu Dhabi are at the forefront of crafting new instruments to further advance the oud family.
The 2350 BC Orchestra comprises 35 master graduates from Bait Al Oud, along with guest musicians from around the world and new innovative instruments, which come together in concert.
‘From Assyria to Seville’ will present these new instruments in the oud family. It will also feature instruments derived from the oud, such as the mandolin, the guitar and the bozouq. Led by composer Shamma, the 2350 BC Orchestra will take the public on a journey through music, culture and time, in a unique performance featuring unprecedented musical forms.
