The Journey of a Piece Programme will showcase loaned antique clay pots to the Al Ain Municipality Al Ain Museum, through its Journey of a Piece Programme.

The clay pot is a pottery jug from the settlement of Bidaa Bint Saud, dating back to the Iron Age, and specifically to the first millennium BCE.

The settlement was based around falaj irrigation systems, and is the site of many archaeological finds, including arrowheads, stone coffers, and pottery jars.

This program aims to promote the importance of museums as an exhibit of a country’s cultural heritage.
