Overview

JadaL, meaning ‘controversy’, is a Jordanian Arabic rock band and music project from Amman, Jordan, formed in 2003 by composer, music producer, guitarist and vocalist Mahmoud Radaideh. It has featured other group members over the years and released three albums, had multiple hits and millions of views on social media channels. This includes Ana Bakhaf Min el Commitment, Salma, Yumain o Leila, Malyoun and others.

The latest album was released in July 2016, titled Malyoun and containing 12 tracks. JadaL has headlined festivals of up to 30,000 attendees in countries such as Jordan, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, the UAE and Palestine. The group is known for its lively and crowd-engaging performances, as well as its wide spectrum of genres, albeit always staying within with JadaL's own character.

Being one of the first successful Arabic rock bands in the world, with an ever-growing fan base, JadaL's goal is to keep raising the bar, to avoid following trends and to stay true to their art; presenting songs to span generations.
