Abu Dhabi Classics presents a new season of dynamic, classical and traditional musical performances in the capital.

Audiences can always expect a rich and diverse selection of performances, built on the works of leading composers - a highlight of the cultural calendar. As well as world-renowned orchestras and soloists, Abu Dhabi Classics brings ballet and the performing arts, and celebrated artists from the Arab world to audiences, in what is considered amongst the strongest arts programming in the region.

Highlighting the season is André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra, performing on 9th March at Etihad Arena. Elevating the city's status as a UNESCO City of Music, the Abu Dhabi Classics programme also features diverse concerts like the comedic cello duo, DuoCalva, from 16 -17 May, and Icelandic pianist Vikingur Ólafsson's recital on 28 May.

In September, the Lucerne Festival Quintet will perform with Russian pianist Alexander Malofeev, followed by the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra’s debut in November.
