Al Ain Palace Museum is the former home of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Founding Father of the United Arab Emirates, and provides a unique insight into the life of Abu Dhabi’s Ruling Family and the culture of the local community before the 1971 Union.

This 14-page bilingual (English and Arabic) colour booklet tells visitors about the history of the palace and its restoration, as ordered by Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in 1998. There is also a ‘Plan Your Visit’ guide on the Main Gate, Administration, Private Family Residence, the Outer Courtyard, Sheikh Zayed’s Reception Rooms and the Main Courtyard.
