Students are invited to create an artwork that combines poetry and the visual arts.
Create an artwork combined with your favourite poem. The poem can be one that you have written yourself or one written by your favourite poet in either Arabic or English.

Create an artwork combined with your favourite poem. The poem can be one that you have written yourself or one written by your favourite poet in either Arabic or English.
The artwork you create should be 2-dimensional and in any medium you choose to express yourself. Once you finish your artwork, take a high-resolution photograph of it and send it in. If you are a lucky finalist, your original artwork will be on display in the next Student Showcase held in Manarat al Saadiyat.
All entries will be judged on creativity, expression, execution and overall aesthetic.

Judging & Notification
All correctly prepared entries will be viewed and judged by a jury panel of experts from the Mawhibaty team.
Winners will be notified by email.
The winners from each competition will automatically be entered into the final Battle of the Arts organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. The #CulturALL community will then be called on to vote for their favourite artworks and choose the final winners for the inaugural Battle of the Arts competition.
