Battle of the Arts

Battle of the Arts is an initiative of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, featuring a series of online competitions by the Department of Education and Knowledge - Abu Dhabi (ADEK), Qasr al Hosn, Louvre Abu Dhabi, Berklee Abu Dhabi, Aldar Academies and Manarat Al Saadiyat. The Battle of the Arts strives to create a healthy and constructive competition amongst the youth of the UAE.

The 10 different competitions are open to all youth (below the age of 30) residing in the United Arab Emirates.

The competitions will close on 24 August 2020 and winners will be announced on 3 September 2020.

Winners for each competition will be selected by a Jury Panel within each partner organization.

Partners will also nominate finalists to enter the final competition for the winners of the overall “Battle of the Arts” award. Finalists will be selected by the community through an online voting platform.

Prizes will be awarded within each category and within each age group.

Winning artworks will be exhibited to the public through an online virtual showcase.
