Your art can take any form that fits within the following categories: drawings and paintings, sculpture, mixed media, poetry and music. All short-listed entries will be featured in the ‘Qasr Al Hosn Through Young Eyes’ exhibition. Winning entries will be announced in September and awarded prizes.

Calling all student creatives across the United Arab Emirates!
You are invited to create artwork inspired by Qasr Al Hosn, the oldest standing building in Abu Dhabi. Your art can take any form that fits within the following categories: drawings and paintings, sculpture, mixed media, poetry and music.
Terms and Conditions
- Participants must be between the ages of 6 to 18.
- Participants must be UAE residents. Proof of Emirates ID will be requested for participation eligibility.
- Artworks must celebrate Qasr Al Hosn by showcasing elements of Qasr Al Hosn, or Abu Dhabi's culture and traditions.
- Each Entry must be submitted by an individual.
- No joint submissions will be accepted.
- Only one submission allowed per student.
- Multiple winners will be selected from various categories by a judging panel selected by Qasr Al Hosn.
- Submissions must be unpublished original artworks created for the purpose of this competition.
- Participants should refrain from posting their submissions online until the contest results are announced.
Submission format varies by category. A PNG or JPG photo of the artwork will be initially submitted through the competition webpage or by email (Pdf of poetry and Mp3 file for music and Mp4 file film). The Qasr Al Hosn team will coordinate the delivery of art works at a later stage.
Participants must submit their entries to education@qasralhosn.ae to apply, with email subject Qasr Al Hosn Through Young Eyes, along with the signed Terms & Conditions form, available to download on qasralhosn.ae and a softcopy of their Emirates ID.
The winner will be announced on Qasr Al Hosn's digital platforms, and will be notified via education@qasralhosn.ae Each participant is responsible for monitoring his/her email for prize notification and other communications related to this Contest.
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to provide the commercial rights of the winning artwork to Qasr Al Hosn and therefore cannot use the artwork for commercial purposes without prior agreement with Qasr Al Hosn. By signing this form, you confirm that you have read and agree with the terms and conditions above.

Judging & Notification
All correctly prepared entries will be viewed and judged by a jury panel of experts from the Department of Culture and Tourism, selected by Qasr Al Hosn.
Winners will be notified by email.
The winners from each competition will automatically be entered into the final Battle of the Arts organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. The #CulturALL community will then be called on to vote for their favourite artworks and choose the final winners for the inaugural Battle of the Arts competition.
Prizes
Three winners will be awarded within each art category and age group. Prizes include: House of Artisans Customized Backpack, Art Supplies Box, Workshop vouchers and Qasr al Hosn x Louvre Abu Dhabi Tickets.
