A digital photography/videography Instagram competition in collaboration with Instagram account ADgrammers to engage the creativity and talent of all photographers and filmmakers during the current global situation of the COVID19- virus.

General Guidelines
Participants will be allowed multiple submissions during the running contest period (two weeks).
Participants will have to depict the theme in their material and add the relative hashtag in their captions. They must also tag @manaratalsaadiyat in their posts.
Voting will be open to the general public.
Two winners will be announced for each theme, one for photography and one for videography. Both winners will receive a prize.
Submission Rules & Criteria
The competition is open to participants 16 and above. Participants must allow public viewing of their photos/videos for us to be able to receive submissions (no private accounts).
Video submissions must not exceed one minute
Submissions must include the hashtag in the captions in order for it to count.
By using the hashtags in connection with their Instagram post, participants are acknowledging and accepting that the Photography Studio has the right to use the post through the Manarat Al Saadiyat Instagram account and all DCT SM accounts or competition representatives.
Participants must submit their original work that is not previously published or featured/focused on any material owned/controlled by third parties.
If required, participants will have to provide clearances, permissions and releases for the submission upon request.
Submissions must not include images or videos that are inappropriate, obscene, or otherwise objectionable. Any submission that violates the above requirements will be disqualified. All submissions must be received by the end of each contest; dates and reminder will be posted on the Manarat Al Saadiyat Instagram feed to keep track of time. This competition does not allow any joint submissions.
Participants must be living in the UAE.
The winners will be selected based on the following criteria —
Execution of theme, Creativity and originality
Photo/video quality
Submission format
Instagram posts only

Judging & Notification
Our judges will include members of the Photography Studio and ADgrammers, in addition to special guests who are also professional photographers.
After each contest, four nominees will be selected by the judging panel after which their work will go on the @manaratalsaadiyat IG account in order for the audience to begin voting. The public will be given one week to vote for their favourite pick. A code will be shared on each post for people to start referencing it in their votes.
The winners from each competition will automatically be entered into the final Battle of the Arts organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. The #CulturALL community will then be called on to vote for their favourite artworks and choose the final winners for the inaugural Battle of the Arts competition.
