You are Juliet in 2020, calling out for your Romeo, only in words that you would use today; no thou and no thee, instead you and me. Re-enact the below monologue in your own words for you and your friends to understand!

Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love And I’ll no longer be a Capulet. ‘Tis but thy name that is my enemy: Thou art thyself, though not a Montague. What’s Montague? It is nor hand nor foot Nor arm nor face nor any other part Belonging to a man. O be some other name. What’s in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet; So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call’d, retain that dear perfection which he owes without that title. Romeo, doff thy name, and for that name, which is no part of thee, take all myself."

Judging & Notification
All properly prepared entries will be viewed and judged by a jury panel of experts from the Berklee Abu Dhabi Team.
The winners from each competition will automatically be entered into the final Battle of the Arts organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. The #CulturALL community will then be called on to vote for their favourite artworks and choose the final winners for the inaugural Battle of the Arts competition.
