Aldar Education is delighted to offer the ‘Young Musicians of Abu Dhabi’ competition open to all young soloists and vocalists. Primary and Secondary students are invited to battle it out and demonstrate their musical talent and creativity. Students can perform on their instrument of choice or as a vocalist.
Who can apply?
Solo performers and vocalists between the ages of 6 – 10 years
Solo performers and vocalists between the ages of 11 – 18 years

This is an opportunity for young musicians across Abu Dhabi to demonstrate their musical talent through practising and refining their skills to present the best performance possible. Students should consider the recording quality of their work as well as their ability to stamp their own musical authority on their performance. Attention to dynamics, expression and detail are of great importance as well as imparting a sense of great musicality.
Any genre of music will be accepted and original compositions are highly encouraged!
Performances should be between 2 minutes and 5 mins in length.

Judging & Notification
All prepared entries that fulfil the criteria will be viewed and judged by a jury panel of experts from the Aldar Music team. Winners will be notified by email.
The winners from each competition will automatically be entered into the final Battle of the Arts organized by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi. The #CulturALL community will then be called on to vote for their favourite artworks and choose the final winners for the inaugural Battle of the Arts competition.
