You are invited to join a public programme entitled “Travel Through Our Traditions”, which takes participants on a field trip from Qasr Al Muwaiji to a nearby farm to discover more about the desert environment.

Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the programme presents an immersive cultural experience that introduces participants to the daily agricultural practices and traditions in the Al Ain Region.

The cultural experience involves a guided tour that introduces participants to the handicrafts that used to be practiced in farms, such as spinning and preparing wool. Additionally, participants will be able to identify the tools used for making covers for camels, for transferring materials and produce, for hunting and falconry, and also the different types of falcons used for hunting.
