The “Rawi Al Dhafra” competition is designed for children, aiming to develop storytelling, creativity, and expression skills. Participants will take part in engaging challenges to explore the history of Al Dhafra and discover its stories in a practical and interactive way across its cultural sites.

How to Participate

• Registration is done in person at one of the two locations: Al Dhafra Fort or Delma Museum, during official opening hours.
• After registration, participants will join an introductory tour to learn more about the “Rawi Al Dhafra” competition.
• Create a pictorial story inspired by the experience.

Competition Terms and Conditions

• Participants must be between 6 - 11 years old.
• Each child is allowed to submit one entry only.
• The pictorial story must be the participant’s own work and inspired by their experience at the site.
• The submission must be in Arabic or English
• Participants must adhere to the competition theme and the organizers’ instructions.
• Submissions must be delivered within the timeframe specified by the organizing entity.

• Registration and tour visits period:
  1 June 2026 – 26 June 2026
• Submission deadline:
  17 July 2026
• Announcement of winners:
  31 July 2026

Prize

• One-night stay at Anantara Sir Bani Yas Island Resort for three accompanying persons
• Safari tours on the island
• Cultural tour at the cultural site on Sir Bani Yas Island
