The Qattara Arts Centre offers a series of virtual workshops and courses open to the entire family, giving art enthusiasts a chance to immerse themselves in the creative arts scene.
Running monthly and organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, the courses cater to both adults and children. It aims to teach the basics of technical skills painting, drawing, singing, pottery and oud and piano classes, among others.
Al Qattra Arts Centre plays a unique role in Al Ain’s art and cultural scene. It is not only a place for people to see art, but also a place to create it. The centre was established in 2011 as a venue where art and culture can be studied, practiced and developed by Emiratis. The centre’s art gallery displays art by expatriate and Emirati artists. There also is a permanent venue for archaeological and heritage exhibits, and studios for art classes.
