The Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi has shared an exhilarating line-up of spectacular music for residents and visitors for National Day.
In line with the UAE’s 50th Jubilee celebration, Majed Al Mohandes and Iraqi singer-songwriter Aseel Hameem will headline Emirates Palace's concert. Music enthusiasts will enjoy an evening starring some of the most prolific singing sensations from the region.
Dubbed the ‘voice of Diamond’ and ‘the Engineer of the Arabic song’, Iraqi singer and composer Majed Al Mohandes is something quite special in the Arabic world. Since his early musical beginnings, he has won numerous awards and a place in many Arab hearts through his powerful voice. Known for being humble and appreciative towards his fans he has allowed his music to be his main image, setting him apart from many modern Arabic singers.
Hameem is a regional favourite when it comes to Iraqi pop, particularly in the Gulf. In 2019, her song Al Mafrood was the most-streamed track in Saudi Arabia on Spotify, and Hameem the most-streamed artist.
