“My Heritage is My responsibility” is an initiative by Al Ain Palace which will take place in 2020. The first event will be about the traditional clothes theme, and will include a live performance of an Emirati wedding, dowry, an educational workshop, an Emirati souq, traditional foods and other activities. Its purpose is to spread the cultural knowledge among the variety of visitors, awareness, revive the tradition amongst the generation, sustainability of the heritage and pass it to the upcoming generations.
Al Ain Palace Museum, is one of the best-reinstated forts in the Abu Dhabi Emirate. The museum showcases the everyday life in a ruler's fort when the late Sheikh Zayed and his family resided in the palace prior to 1966. The Bedouin style architecture dates back to 1937 and was converted into a museum in 1998 as a main cultural and tourist attraction.
