The 'Memory of the Emirati Song' programme is taking place to celebrate the 51st UAE National Day, and will run alongside the Traditional Handicrafts Festival.

The programme will feature Arab and Emirati artists, including talented artists and musicians from Bait Al Oud.

Abdel Moneim Al Ameri has participated in many art festivals, such as the Layali Dubai and Jarash Festival. He has also taken part in many local and regional Arab festivals and concerts and has participated in many of the concerts to commemorate UAE National Day.

Omar Suhail is an up-and-coming Emirati singer who explores a combination of music and poetry.

Oraib Hamdan

Oraib Hamdan, a Jordanian, was born on 30 December 1980 in the UAE. She has achieved great success for her performances, which are distinguished by her use of Emirati and Gulf styles and dialect. This was possible because she grew up and was educated in the UAE and practised and spoke the local dialect.
