The Korea Festival has been hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development in the UAE since 2013 as a symbol of the friendly relationship between the nation and Korea. The event gathers thousands of people every year, enhancing mutual understanding among people through culture and art. 

This year, various programmes are scheduled along with a special art exhibition and performances in celebration of the Year of Zayed. 

On October 17, the festival will open its door with a media art show ‘Remembrance of Zayed, Lights in Consonance’ which will bring the memory of Sheikh Zayed with artistic lights. Also Korean traditional music and dance performance by Jindo National Gugak Center and a B-boy show ‘Marionette’ by Expression Crew will be featured on the opening night.
