Warehouse421 is proud to present another diverse program of exhibitions, workshops and film screenings this December.
In addition to the 100/100: Hundred Best Arabic Posters exhibition, which continues throughout this month, the art hub presents the first commissioned exhibition, Architecture of Loneliness, co-curated with Gulf Photo Plus [GPP]. Architecture of Loneliness and commissioned by Warehouse421.
The exhibition showcases photographs of abandoned and uninhabited spaces in the UAE that were once alive with social and economic activity.
The interactive public program this month features more immersive creative workshops than have been offered in the past, including:
- a 5-day painting course
- a workshop on story through the medium of film
- and the return of the popular photography workshop delivered in partnership with GPP.
Alongside a number of our regular creative partners, the event teams up for the first time with Little Inventors x Sharjah Children Biennial, which aims to inspire children to use their imaginations to come up with their own ideas for new inventions. Finally, continuing throughout December [and onwards until April 2019] is the ‘History: Film & The Arab Woman’ series being hosted in collaboration with Cinema Akil and dedicated exclusively to contemporary films by or about Arab women.
