In light of the UAE's Golden Jubilee celebrations, Culture Foundation presents to you 'Borealis Northern Lights by Dan Acher'.

This mesmerising work of art brings the experience of the Northern Lights to cities around the world. High-power laser beams travel through particle clouds to create the illusion. Variations in movement, colour and density, together with changing weather conditions, give infinite variations. The unique aurora created is produced by Happy City Lab and is accompanied by music from OXSA.

Borealis is about the ancestral communion with nature and the more recent compulsion to control it. It is about inspiring shared emotions in the centre of a city, by creating something magical, something that shouldn’t naturally be there. Acher uses the city as a playground where strangers connect.
