The Al Jahili Traditional Games Championships are considered the first of their kind in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain and represent an essential part of local culture. This second edition targets male teenagers, youth, and girls, aiming to enhance their understanding of traditional games by encouraging participation during Ramadan. The Championships will be organized in collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police, particularly the Police Heritage Department.

This edition will introduce traditional games for girls in addition to the men’s categories, along with an interactive traditional games exhibition, a bookshop by ALC, a men’s tailor showcasing and selling traditional garments worn during the games, and a heritage gift shop offering products from Abu Dhabi Crafts and traditional games merchandise. The program will also feature an Arabic coffee corner and a variety of F&B offerings supporting Emirati entrepreneurs.
