Al Hosn Festival returns to reignite the energy of culture shared in person. The festival will feature multiple prolific performances to celebrate and nurture the lineages of inspiration which link all of Abu Dhabi’s creative communities. 

Shereen Saif is an acting professional who works in multiple spheres: dancing, theatre, voice acting and storytelling, and installation art. Saif was trained in Navarasa Saadhana, an exceptional acting methodology introduced by Kutiyattam scholar and exponent, Venu G. Thus, multidisciplinary approach applied to performing arts has lead to creative collaborations that combine music, movement, video art, theatre, and technology.

Harshini J. Karunaratne is a Sri Lankan Peruvian visual artist. She graduated in Film & New Media and Theater at New York University Abu Dhabi. Harshini closely studies the intersection of film and theatre, and the application of projections in live performance. Fernando Lopez is a dancer, choreographer and researcher. In 2009, he choreographed his first project, which led him to produce more than 10 works in the field of contemporary flamenco dance.

Urszula Bernat-Jałocha is a dancer, pedagogue, choreographer, director. The dancer began to study dance at the Roman Turczynowicz Secondary Ballet School in Warsaw. In 2007 she earned her M.F.A. in ballet pedagogy at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw.

Hamad Al Ameri is a young poet and talented heritage artist who has mastered the art of ‘Shallah’. ‘Shallah’ is a Khaleeji form of art known for its difficult conditions which require strong vocal abilities and is characterized by its beauty, expressive performance, and high senses. Ahmed Al Hosani is an Emirati Baritone who is multi-talented both as a classical singer and a professional painter. Swarashri is a talented dancer, the prime disciple of Guru Pali Chandra and a student of Gurukul Dubai. She has been passionate kathak learner in the Lucknow Gharana style for 11 years.
