Al Ain Palace museum is presenting a lecture which will discuss Aflaj in Al Ain and Sheikh Zayed’s interest and concerns about it. The talk will be divided into two main parts: first one will focus on Aflaj which will highlight the water distribution to the farms, its different sections, and digging operation.
The second part will focus mainly on palms in the oasis, palm trees care, and different types of palms and seasons. Both talks will be presented by Khalid Al Neyadi and Mariam Al Darmaki.
Al Ain Palace Museum, is one of the best-reinstated forts in the Abu Dhabi emirate. The museum showcases the everyday life in a ruler's fort when the late Sheikh Zayed and his family resided in the palace prior to 1966. The Bedouin style architecture dates back to 1937 and was converted into a museum in 1998 as a main cultural and tourist attraction.
