Rooted in the rich heritage of Al Ain, this summer camp invites children to explore the stories, traditions, and cultural practices that have shaped the UAE across time. Through hands-on activities, creative challenges, and immersive site experiences, participants develop a deeper understanding of the nation’s identity and living heritage.

At Qasr Al Muwaiji, children discover the values, traditions, and everyday practices that have shaped Emirati life, engaging in interactive activities that connect heritage to the present day and encourage reflection on how the past continues to influence modern society.

At Bait Mohammed bin Khalifa, they step into a hands-on world of traditional craft, where making, play, and storytelling introduce the skills, materials, and cultural significance of Emirati handicrafts, inspiring creativity through the act of creation.

At Al Ain Museum, children explore the region’s archaeological discoveries, aflaj systems, oasis life, historic fort architecture, and the role of museums in preserving cultural heritage. Through investigation, documentation, and creative interpretation, they produce their own tangible outcomes—from models and recordings to reports and exhibition displays—culminating in a public Young Curators Exhibition.

Together, these experiences transform heritage into something active and relevant—helping children understand where they come from, how communities are built, and how tradition continues to shape modern life.
