Al Qattara Arts Centre is pleased to invite you to attend the puppet theatre performance ‘Grandmother’s Mirror’.

The little girl Mariam visits her grandmother’s house for the first time and wakes up to the sound of her grandmother singing old traditional songs. Suddenly, Mariam is drawn into her grandmother’s magical mirror, where she experiences the world of childhood, traditional games, and colourful heritage clothing, discovering the warmth and value of her heritage.

A unique performance presented for the first time, inspired by an Emirati story by writer Amer Al Mahri, with screenplay and dialogue by Ahmed Al Majid, and directed by Mohamed Fawzi Bakar.

Workshops accompany the Programme
