Siqing Lu is one of China's most acclaimed violinists. He brings profound lyricism and technical brilliance to his interpretations and is considered today one of the leading international violinists. His recordings of contemporary Chinese music such as Xie-Yang Chen have substantially contributed to popularize this music outside China.
For his first recital in the UAE, Lu Siqing has chosen a challenging programme including Chinese contemporary classical music, Dvořák's Violin Sonatina in G major, as well as Camille Saint-Saëns’ Sonata Nr.1 in D Minor, Op. 75. Known for his expressive style and deep musical sensitivity, Lu’s musicianship will capture the drama, lyrical beauty, and emotional depth of Saint-Saëns’ masterpiece.
