Abdelghani Alnahawi
Abdelghani Alnahawi (b. Ras Al Khaimah, 1994) is a Palestinian artist who lives and works in the UAE. His work investigates the possibility of other worlds through the study of language, post-humanism and philosophies of design, with writing forming an integral part of his practice.
Alnahawi attained his BFA from the American University in Dubai, and is pursuing his MFA in Sculpture at the Rhode Island School of Design. Previous residencies include the Cultural Foundation Art Residency, the Salama Bint Hamdan Fellowship in collaboration with RISD and Art Jameel’s Youth Assembly. Abdelghani Alnahawi is a recipient of the Cultural Foundation Art Residency.
